PROCESS AND MATERIAL

All pieces are crafted by hand and with love in the studio.

Behind every piece lies its very own unique process, where form follows material. Some pieces come to life a long time before getting the final cut and some need less time. Nevertheless the process is always conscious and diligent, which is hard to plan and can take a few weeks on average.

The single pieces of material are put together carefully, get lost and find each other in new ways, much like a painting.

Only natural materials are used such as cotton, silk, deadstock and vintage fabric such as cashmere, wool and traditionally woven Ikats.
If used, the leather and lambskin are also 100% recycled, which means they are taken from old pieces of clothing and carefully cleaned and upcycled.
In-house plant dyeing by using our own herbal recipes can come at the end of this process.
